Hi Don....Hope you don't mind a bit of online design 'assistance' here. 
Please keep in mind that the mighty NYC had two different kinds of 
pilots (and maybe a third) on it's E-units.  There is the so-called 
passenger pilot which is what originally came on the Overland E-7s many 
moons ago.  The mighty NYC eventually figured out that the standard 
freight pilot was more to their liking and so the passenger pilots were 
ultimately replaced with the more-common freight pilots.  While both 
types of pilots are technically correct, some of da guys (like me) 
strongly prefer the freight pilot since it was the more common style.  
Knowing your dedication to accuracy, I hope the SHS E-7 disels will 
come with the freight pilot (same as your F-units) or at least offer 
the freight pilot as an extra cost option.  Using the same freight 
pilot as on the F-units should save you some tooling costs.  Crossing
