Stan,
I've ordered and received many diesel axles form them to replace all my
AM code 125 axles. It was quite a chore, as AM has changed the bearing
over the years. Also the six axle units (PA's, Trainmaster, SD-60's
etc.) have axles that slide side-to-side that have to be considered.
Next you have the fact that some of the newer units have sprung axles.
So be aware so you can get the proper replacement. I finally ended up
sending them my orginial axles that needed replacement.
Regarding the standard axles. I believe they are all gauged for the
newer stnadard spacing. Some are made for AM trucks, some for SHS
trucks and some are the older straight axles for the Kinsman, Rex or Ace
trucks. I also understand that the wheels can be nickel silver or
brass. Many years ago our club ordered hundreds of axles of the
weathered brass versions and I have many left that fit the AM freight
trucks.
