Hello Again George...

I should have phrased my answer more precisely too.  If the track and 
wheels are gauged properly, it won't matter which part number you buy. 
Both will work just fine.  I believe the so-called "NASG" wheelsets are 
probably built to the current NASG standards.  I am not sure what the 
so-called "S scale" wheelsets are built to -- perhaps the older NASG 
standards, but that is just a guess on my part.  A phone call to NWSL 
will clear up that particular mystery in a hurry.  

My point is that regardless of which wheelsets you purchase, they 
should be inspected with the NASG gage and adjusted/corrected if 
necessary.  Probably the NASG wheelsets will require little or no 
adjusting whereas the so-called "S scale" wheels might need to be 
tapped with a hammer.   

You might read the NWSL pamphlet on S scale wheels that Bill Roberts 
mentioned in his message.  Maybe there is a clue in there.  He even 
provided a link for clicking.  Good guy, that Bill.
