I'm proud to announce that, after several delays caused by time-sensitive
projects, the long-awaited SR&RL swing motion and common trucks started
production today. These Sn2 trucks will be available singly and bulk packed
in groups of 5-9 or 10+ of either style. Pricing is $17 for singles; $15.50
for order quantities of 5-9 (bulk packed) and $14.50 for order quantities of
10 or more (also bulk packed). Contact me if you want ONLY the castings (no
wheels).
"Bulk packed" means there will be several bags within the main bag
containing like parts to prevent damage and 1 instruction sheet. Singles
include a bag header for dealers interested in stocking. Included in each
truck kit are 2 pairs of side frames, a sheet of details, 2 bolsters, a
sprue of Tichy's HO Nylon axle bushings, 4 Central Valley HOn3 wheels and 2
#00-80 screws. Sideframes, bolsters and detail sheet are pressure-cast in
industrial-strength polyurethane, tinted a light brown. This is the same
material I've used for all model RR kits produced over the past 3 years or
so and it's as strong as styrene. Due to the uncertainty of NWSL's
availability of HOn3 wheels, production may be limited to what can be
shipped with the CV wheels (also long out of production). So, get 'em while
you can!
