About 20 years ago, I had a customer request a bunch of numberless American Models plug door box cars - as I recall I got about 25 or so and paid American Models a $1 premium over the price of the numbered cars. The customer changed his mind after I got them for him. I wound up being stuck with them and still got a lot left because nobody wanted them.
