Gary, Rusty et al --

I didn't take Rusty's e-mail (Rusty Rustermeier's email alias is "brassbasher)
as a put-down. It's simply a statement of what one has to face with such a
project, and with the implications of using a casting as the master for a new
run.

I have done business with Rusty re the Model Railroad Warehouse etched-brass
troop sleeper kits of several years ago. Rusty did the brass Allied
Full-Cushion trucks for these cars, and the result was excellent.

My suggestion is for Gary to approach Rusty to re-run his own T-section Betts
with leaf springs. I'm betting that these would be no more expensive that the
alternative that Gary is proposing.

Dick
