I am not going to spend an hour on this but I feel the need to add comment. This is not, IMHO, a silly discussion. I believe that questions like this - and we have had many before - are not intended to criticize anyone for doing whatever it is that pleases them. This question comes up almost every time we gain a member who may be new to S but not to model railroading. I raised the issue several years ago and encountered the same kind of resistance.
The expressions are not intended to criticize others but to lament the lack of publications that serve S SCALE. This is a legitimate suggestion or comment. Obviously the market is not large enough for SCALE publications but the need remains. I think Ed K has suggested a newsletter as a starter. I agree with him. I believe that S SCALE will grow faster if information about SCALE related products is available other than word-of-mouth. By all means let the publications serving other aspects of model railroading continue. But please allow us to search for other means.
