also;

I found of interest in the S January/February 2008 S gaugian, Rusty
Westermeier's "Scale Scene" column.
Rusty took and disected early S scale locomotive power. The Miller Labratories
switcher and the Super Scale version, plus the Stinson and Nord companies
Mikado and Consolidation locomotives.

In the end, Rusty asked us for more ideas for his columns.
Rusty stay on that track, there is so much early days scale stuff to write
about you should never run out of material.
Perhaps all of us out here can send Rusty (material) images, or loan him a
piece of early equipment to dissect?

River Raisen has a great page of new Brass for you to purchase and run; John
Huster has 10 new RTR box cars to purchase, not sure if they have scale wheel
sets, but you can purchase and "Chop!"; and Richard Arsenault's (Part II)
article on his Southern Cascade Line is also of interest, giving us ideas on
setting up trackside scenery.

I also wanted to mention that the S gaugian's November-December 2007 issue's
front page has a real neat Arsenault cover photo and his article is also well
done. The model photography is also excellent!

Have a great day,
Bill
