Well, questions about RR colors are usually dangerous... Just about everyone
has an opinion, and they are all different! But I'll give this a shot anyway...
I want to get a couple baggage cars and a coach painted for NYC. Just
wondering if anyone out there has researched the correct green shade that the
NYC used on home-road heavyweight equipment. I know it is not "Pullman Green",
but what RR paint color would is correct? We are talking the 30's and 40's
here, pre-any two tone gray repaints. I prefer to work in Scalecoat paints,
but am open to other brands if they provide better color matches. You can
replay on or off line at your pleasure...
