Thinking back I can't think of a single S scale hobby purchase I've
made in the past three years that wasn't involved in being on-line in
some manner. This is a total of 30 to 50 buys (some multiple items)I
estimate. If I don't see it on line I don't buy it. Not a philosophy
just habit. Several items I bought through a retailer who had the non-
online suppliers item available. Once a month update is suffient to
my needs.
I have bought directly from one supplier following e-mails only.
Just curious (George), do most people still buy S by snail mail or
catalogs? Local hobby shops carry zip S and I don't encourage them.
One brought in a few items none of which I could use, but why guess
what I'd want? Put up a website and I'll tell you.
