   Hi John, I guess you'd need a range between code 55 and code 148 to
satisfy everyone! The sweet spot is probably code 83 to code 100. 
   At one time I used various extra gauges when handlaying but for the
last few years I've just used my NMRA standards gauge so I don't know
how many folks the  multi-code gauges would appeal to?....dave
