Hello group
I am on the road to help the NASG with the Sacramento Worlds Greatest Hobby
show and I
ran into a problem trying to buy resistors. I stopped by the local train shop
and bought some
1.5 volt 30mA 1.2mm dia. incandescent bulbs but they didn't have any resistors
for them.
The local electronic supply house couldn't tell me what resistors to use to
reduce the 14 volt
supply to the 1.5 volt bulb. This is for a PBL Heisler I am painting and
converting to dcc.
I would appreciate any help that someone may give to know what resistor to
purchase or
where I can find a chart to find out. The store guys got into Ohms, wattage
needed and other
techno speak that I couldn't relate to. They sold me a 1/4 watt1.2Kohm 2% that
didn't work.
