Hello there everyone;
I have recently decided to step up my efforts to produce products
under my own label, and to that end, I would like to introduce myself.
My name is Jeff Briggs, and my company is Briggs Models. I have been
working in the model railroading industry for 15 years, as a
professional pattern maker, resin kit manufacturer, product engineer,
and consultant.
In 2007, I was part of an effort called BS Model Co, whose goal was to
produce high quality resin kits for On30 models. I own the pattern
work for this product line, and I am now marketing this product line
on my own, under my label, because I wasn't realizing the sales
volumes that I knew were possible while in that partnership. I have a
vision to sell these, and future models, world wide. With my
experience in the industry, coupled with my motivation and knowledge
of engineering and model railroading, I have the ability to make it a
reality.
I have always been fascinated by narrow gauge and small prototype,
industrial type models. The On30 models that I have designed and
brought to production reflect this. There are no prototypes for my
On30 models, but I feel I have captured the essence of industrial and
narrow gauge railroading with the designs that I have created.
I have been unable to contact some of my customers from my speeder
project. I need to touch base with some of them regarding delivery. If
you have NOT received an email from me within the last 48 hours,
please contact me at [EMAIL PROTECTED] I need to confirm
delivery, address, and other information. Because of the delays
associated with bringing this product to market, I am concerned that
some of my clients will have moved, acquired a new or different email
address, or are otherwise not reachable. Some of my customers are only
reachable via snail mail, and those customers will be contacted in
that manner. Thank you!
Please take a look at my website, and browse around. The site is
located at briggsmodels.com. I have also posted my website as a link
in the link folder section for the group. The site is new, and I
intend to make changes and upgrades to it as time allows. Specific
improvements that I have planned are PayPal and other quick links,
more difinitive graphics, and more photos of products.
Of course, more products are planned for 2008!
If you have any questions or suggestions for products, please feel
free to send me an email. Thank you for taking the time to visit the
site. Happy New Year and happy model railroading to all of you!
