Bob, Here is a photo of them. http://www.lanestrains.com/Brass_Archbar_Trucks.jpg I only had 4 sets and 6 log cars so that played into my decision as well. They may be On3 sideframes with a new bolster. They look good to me. The plastic wheels are probably old time code 125. The flanges are a little deep, but they are not Hi Rail for sure. SHS wheels will fit in there nicely with some minor shortening of the axles.
So does anyone want to make more then an educated guess as to who made these trucks? Even in my whackadoo measuring to the 1/1000" mode, I have yet to be worried about the wheelbases of freight car truck sideframes. Yes a readily available Archbar truck would be nice to have. I would have put all Ace/DMR Archbar trucks on them if they were easy to get. Since this is freelance, anything goes, it is all good! The Ace Archbar trucks get pricey when you see them on eBay.... I agree with you. I now have these Archbar trucks for someday. There would not be many still around except maybe for M O W service by my era of 1957.
