The train is Bachmann On30 cars with S Scale trucks on them. The conversion of the log cars could have not been simpler. I re-tapped the truck screw for 2-56 and used S Helper Service trucks. DONE! The original log car couplers matched right up in height to the top of the 802 coupler height gauge. The caboose conversion was more involved. I added new higher bolsters and had to cut out most of the original draft gear to get the coupler height corrected. I used 802s on the caboose. The log cars look really great. The caboose is a little big. It would have not been as obvious if I bought the logging caboose without the cupola, but I liked this one better. Oh well... All in all, a worthy project without having to do any major assembly or painting.
