We barely managed to get the kit done for the Sn3 Symposium, but yes,
the S-scale Durango Coaling Tower is now shipping! It sells for $240,
postpaid in the US. Even though it's a narrow gauge tower, it looks
great on standard gauge brachline or shortline layouts. It holds
75-tons of coal, narrow OR standard gauge!

The kit has a few small improvements over its Big Brother (the O-scale
kit), and the experience gained in assembling a half dozen of the O's
resulted in all new instructions for the S kit. But it remains a kit
that requires patience and it's not recommended for the first-time
builder. The spiral-bound instructions are 46-pages long with 88
photographs. If you take your time and follow the instructions, a
museum quality model should be the result. (There are nearly 200
numbered, laser-cut parts and only 38 sprues of Grandt Line details to
add!)(...thanks again, Dave, for going to all that work!)

We're taking 10 of the kits to St. Louis for the Symposium, and will be
leaving here no later than Tuesday, perhaps tomorrow, after taking a
look at the weather. If you order a kit, we'll do our best to get it
out before we leave....but probably won't have a chance to ship many
before we have to get on the road.
