You can lock any page, but I haven't locked any, yet. We probably will have
to lock all the main pages eventually, but I'm hoping that won't be
necessary for a long time yet.

Yes, you can cut and paste (on Windows) just as with any other Windows
application.

If the modules pages are in the wrong place, though, here is how you move
them:

1. Log in

2. Click on Structures (under Wiki in the left column)

3. Click on ModelTrainWiki (the only structure there right now.

4. In the Structure Layout, click on Modules (6.1) The page will refresh,
showing Current Mode: Modules at the top.

5. Just under that, you will see the Page alias and then a line that says
Move along with arrows left, right, up, and down. Left promote the node to
a higher place in the page tree. Right demotes it and attaches it to the
node just above it. Up and down keep it at the same level, but move it up
and down in the tree. Just click on the up arrow (one line at a time) until
it is in the right place, and promote/demote as necessary.

That's it!

Subject: Re: {S-Scale List} TrainWiki home page

Hi Brian - and all

-I withdraw my complaints. I like this version and agree the site should be
as broad as possible.

-Can't you lock the home page against changes?

-I think modules should be with running trains and not with DCC.

-Is there cut/paste in the editor?

Thanks

Art

I'm fiddling with the basic structure quite a bit right now. Here is how the
home page is supposed to
look, once I get the default assigned:

http://www.modeltra
<http://www.modeltrainwiki.com/tiki-index.php?page=ModelTrainWiki>
inwiki.com/tiki-index.php?page=ModelTrainWiki
