I have been visiting Albuquerque for almost 40 years. Unfortunately S-Scale
has not been one of its attractions. I recommend you drive to Mountainair,
about 1 hour south, and watch trains on the Transcon. A friend recommends
the cantina in Willard, the next town east, for a good lunch. The track is
visible from the windows. A visit to the museum at Belen - a Harvey House -
and the next door fueling racks is also a good visit. If you don't have a
car, take the Railrunner to Belen and spend the day. If you are interested
in SW Indian pueblos, a drive west to Acoma will combine Transcon on the
way. Excellent viewing spot at second Acoma exit where the double track
crosses under I-40. Restaurant in casino is passable.

Subject: {S-Scale List} Albuquerque hobby shops

Anything in Albuquerque, NM that is S Friendly and worth the trip? I
fly tomorrow and will have a full, free day on Monday.

Please reply directly to me as I get the lists in digest form which
makes it a day late. By the time it arrives, I will be gone!
Thank'S',
Thorin
