John,
Disneyland is the original, based in California. Disney World opened in FL
around 1975-76 as I had my high school grad night there in '77 (as did a
BUNCH of other schools). They closed the park after midnight to the public
and we had the run of the place until 4 am. Lots of disco bands (remember
that era?) and great fun, then a bus ride home while we all slept.
I've not been there since.
