Once again I don my auctioneer's hat, and remind everyone attending the
convention in
Lowell that good auctions need good items. Take a look through your stockpiles
and see if
there isn't something you want to part with. I have auctioned everything from
brass
locomotives to AF car bodies, but as a tip I'd say that lessor priced goods do
better. (I think
that by Saturday night some folks are a bit tapped out.) You can set minimums,
so there's no
worry that someone will walk away with your brass J1 for $100. The NASG
collects a meager
10% of the selling price. If you are not attending, or your travel
arrangements restrict your
carrying capacity, contact me off list about shipping things. We can work with
you.
