Gents...As long as everyone else has a morbid story, I'll tell mine.  
It is true because it involves my father and me.  I was there!  Dad had 
cancer and the Docs gave him about six weeks to live.  After several 
long stays in various hospitals in the Philadelphis area, we moved him 
out here to California to be near each other.  He was in a nursing home 
receiving excellent care.  After a few weeks, he asked a strange 
question:  "How many more days are left on the insurance?"  I checked 
and determined there was about 15 days left before we would have to 
start paying for the nursing home care ourselves.  Dad passed away on 
the very last day the insurance paid for everything.  I still do not 
believe it, but it actually happened.  Ed L.
