Just checking in, there has been some interesting and amusing things
posted the last couple of weeks.
Jim Kindraka made a comment about building a network of talented
friends. That has been the key to the Pines and Prairies, we have a
great group of folks with different talents and that is a real help
when building a railroad. I supply the comic relief another
example...
If you are interested in 101 ways to aggrivate your wife while
building a model railroad, we have a guy in the PPSSW who is amazing
at it. The stories are too good but I don't want to retell them in
the event she reads this and remembers them all at one time. Maybe he
will write a book.
When you are building your layout, suggest that you have safely
stored a small amount a hobby cash in or on the layout. Occasionally
come out of the layout room putting 50 or 100 dollars in your
pocket. This will assure that your trains are not shoved out the
door in a pile at your demise.
As a non professional photographer, I recommend digital because you
can make 100 bad photos just as quickly with digital as you can with
film but it is less cost. You also have the opportnity to see you
are making bad pictures eariler so you can correct the issue or go
find something else to do.
Have a great week.

Ken
