Hi Bill --
Now, as I recall the story, there was a person riding shotgun that "knew
Baltimore" and didn't need no stinkin' maps. ( ;-) ) Jeff was sure a
good guy about all this... It did make for an interesting night!
Have fun!

Especially when you are in Jeff Madden's Van, leaving Baltimore's Inner
Harbor Phillips Seafood restaurant leaving for your hotel and end up getting
lost in a "War Zone," with Blue Flashing lights, video cameras on top of the
telephone poles, cops and ambulances everywhere and you hand Bill and Sandie
a map and both realize they forgot to bring along their glasses! Man you
talk about the blind leading the blind!
WOW! Forty five minutes later, Jeff kept saying we have to hit the
interstate somewhere out here?
Finally, we gathered up enough courage to pull into a fenced in Service
Station and ask directions and the guy said, "What are you doing out here?"
We said we were lost! Obviously! 8>) So, we had to turn and around, go back
through all that chaos, finally found the avenue we missed and went back to
the hotel! Oh yes, forgot to add, we failed to get off at the correct exit,
went through the tunnel twice and then finally got safely back to our Hotel!
We laugh about it now, but back then at 11:00 PM, it wasn't very funny, was
it? Frankly, quite exhausting!
While we were sort of nervously laughing, I thought Jeff remained unusually
cool and collected through it all!
