Hi All --
While the Balto. convention was not one of my favorites (mostly because of
situations beyond the organizers' control), it will always live in my memory
because of the "ride through the battle sone", much like the Pontiac
convention will live on for its bomb scare. I hope the Lowell convention
will live on for the same reasons the Dearborn convention does: because it
was one of the best ever put together. All of you who get to go to Lowell
lift a brew for me...
Have fun!

Although, we didn't travel through a war zone, Bud Rindfleisch, Dave
Fontana, and I took a cab to and from the same overpriced restraurant.
On the way back we got a driver who apparently was new on the job and
country--we guessed mid eastern. He made several phone calls in a
language unknown to us. We guessed he was asking for directions but he
could have been talking to his stock broker or lining up his buddies to
steal our 'brass' money. I love advertures that turn out well!
