Hi All,

Its me again....

As I have mentioned I am getting better at my Solidworks designing. If it
all goes as I think it might, this whole thing of making brass parts will
get pretty addicting for me. It kind of already has.

Most of what I design and make will probably not be for sale and will be
just for me in my brass bashing modeling. BUT some might be for sale. The
stake pockets (Currently HO) and marker light on my page are possibilities.

I also thought about making tank domes for making various air tanks. I have
made about 16 of then so far turned from solid round stock. They look good
and add some weight but when you have to solder in the pipes it gets tricky
soldiering a thin wire to a large solid mass.

SO I thought about making various domed ends to fit into the K&S brass round
tubes. You pick the DIA and cut the tube to length. BAM! Instant tank! I
could include a generic mounting bracket. It would have some sort of banding
strap simulating attachment to the tank.

This is what I am talking about. http://www.lanestrains.com/Tank_Dome.jpg

Reply directly if you think it is a good idea. I need to make some $$ for my
new budding and costly addiction.

Thank You,
Bill Lane
