Bill,
You have hit upon what makes it possible to produce these engines in the
manner tha we are working toward. Jim only has to produce the boiler once to
make two engines (the 2-8-2 & 4-6-2) and the same can be said of tenders. On
the heavy you produce a new
boiler and adapt existing fitting, drag and drop and go directly to patterns to
create the molds.
Example we are going tobring out a CofGa/SR caboose. The CofGa cut down
the Ventilator Car that Jim already has on 3D CAD. He can resize to S a SR
caboose, clip of the steps, drag that image to the CofGa underframe and viola
you have the undercarriage of the CofGa/SR Caboose!!
Pretty amazing!
Pass along any thoughts, I am building a file.

My vote is for the light. Yes, Overland already imported it but it's
been 20+ years ago. I imagine that the light should have a wider
appeal since it went to many more roads than the heavys and so many
post-1918 clones of it were produced. Plus I believe it used the same
boiler as the 4-6-2 that you mentioned will also be produced.
But then again, a heavy sure would look good in "S" (although I
personally might not have need for one)...
