I will be in Boston for some other business and planed to drive up for Thursday
as that was to be the s list gathering. I attended the meeting in Pontiac and
it was great getting to know some of you. However I may pass on this one as I
prefer the opportunity to visit amongst ourselves and learn what each of us are
doing beyond what we could say in an introduction. It seems that the clinics
and I do respect the work of the presenters but they ought to be in the general
convention programing. You don't really get to know your fellow modlers when
your butt is in a chair listening to a presenter. I personally think it would
be far more fun and interesting to spend the time in an open reception /
exchange with each bringing and showing what they are doing and how. I guess
with 600 or so members on the s list there will be about 800 different
opinions, and, this subject probably ought to be good for a few thousand cyber
ink words of contention?
