Hi All,

With all the discussions of brass here lately I thought I would pass on info
about a relatively new book "The Brass Trains Guide Book" by Dan Galsure.
Dan owns a major brass dealership and the website www.brasstrains.com Now
THAT my friends is an address I could live at!

The book website is http://www.brassguide.com I highly recommend it even
though there is not a lot of S content in the photo book. The price guide (a
separate book) has VERY extensive listing of brass models made in all scale
including S. Another feature I just discovered today is the upcoming Brass
Exchange. I don’t know quite what it is going to be, but I am interested in
it.

The photo book has TONS of color photos throughout. It is a history of
making brass models from the beginning. If you have even a passing interest
in brass trains you will find this book worthwhile. It is a first class hard
back production. It is on the verge of being sold out. I am pretty sure Dan
is not planning another printing, but rather an ongoing update of the
pricing book instead. There are a few places listed on
http://www.brassguide.com that still have some left.

Thank You,
Bill Lane
