It is indeed fortunate that the webmaster is at the NASG or I would be getting
an electronic
butt chewing for sure. I thought I made a nice comment about photos with the
rather
innocent comment about prototype preferences. Next thing I know lightning is
flying and
something is freezing over. Clearly I will be more careful about my comments.
Wonderful link to the S information website, I do appreciate all of the good
information that
shows up on this site. OK, I admit, I often enjoy the banter.
I have left my place of employment and will be moving into something less
stressful. This
will give me more time to model railroad. In fact, I intended to spend the day
and evening
working with Steve Doyle on his layout but I don't know where he is. All is
not lost, it is a
short trip to the basement and the Minnesota Heartland.
I am researching the movement of Iron Ore overland from the Minnesota Iron
Range to
inland steel mills such as East St. Louis. I understand that Burlington
particularly issued
special instructions for the movement of these trains on their line. I would
appreciate any
tips on where to find this information.
