Hi All, I know someone that is in need of a skilled brass steam engine doctor. The S Scale Sunset UP Big Boy was built back in the day to the NMRA S Scale wheel gauge. The NASG soon thereafter approved a slightly different set of standards. This loco as is will pick the frogs most of the time. The wheels need to be pulled about .005 on each side if I remember correctly. That will be determined before the job is done.
I think the owner already has the tender wheels pulled so we are dealing with the loco wheels only. The drivers can be sent loose if that will help speed the completion.
