Hi All,

I received a lot of castings from my caster this week. I just revised my
Solidworks Modeling page to include the first of the new castings I used,
the Numberplate for K4 5495. I now have parts for at least 1/2 of the other
items on that page as well.

I was very happy with the quality of the castings. I will be adding more
photos of the real castings when I can. I have definitely proven to myself
that this is a very viable process that will produce otherwise very
difficult or impossible to make brass parts.

If you are in the Philadelphia area, I will be giving a brief update of the
presentation I gave at the last meeting of the Phila. Chapter of the PRR
T&HS http://www.prrths.com/Phila_Upcoming.htm on Solidworks modeling. I will
have many of the castings there for the modelers meeting that starts at
11:00. I will also be at the Central Jersey S Scalers Get Together.

Please reply to me directly if you have a question about the process or
attending either of the meetings.

Thank You,
Bill Lane
