The 9th annual, Florida, 2 Rail, O and S Scale meet is Saturday,
November 8th, in Orlando, FL. This is the first year invitations are
being extended to S scalers, in the area.
There will be a swap session, popular vote, model contests, for both
O and S scale, one hour clinics, and mini-clinics.
The meeting will be held at the Airport Holiday Inn. Motel
registration is $99.00 per night. Please be sure to tell the motel
you are with the Florida O Scalers. Please state the code ASLR@, when
making your reservation. Registration can be made by calling 1-800-
206-2747. The motel is located at 5750 T. G. Lee Blvd., which is just
off SR-436 (Sherman Blvd.), and the Bee Line Expressway.
Meeting Events:
1) The swap session will be from 9 A.M., to noon. Set up will start
at 8 A.M. Table rental will be $15.00 each.
2) The clinics will start about 1:30 P.M. There will be two one hour
clinics, as well as mini-clinics. Slots are still open for mini-
clinics (15 min. max.). If you have a unique way of doing a
specific job, we would all like to hear, and learn about it. You
don't have to be a great speaker, with slides, etc., Just show
us a better way of doing something! Please call Ron Dettmer, at

3) There will be a popular vote contest for both scales, on any rail
equipment, or RR associated structure. Bring your latest effort,
even if you don't think it is museum quality, we will still enjoy
seeing what you are doing. It doesn't even have to be finished!

Registration for the meet is $20.00, or $25.00 at the door. Wives and
children free. Table rental is $15.00. There is only space for 20
