Mrs. Sappo and her feline companion were (also) at the 1972 Kansas City
convention. We had a non-S scenery expert, Bud McCrary, whose reaction to here
could almost be compared to Groucho Marx under those circumstances, and his
antics almost upstaged her. I also remember Mr. Sandusky, and John Sudimak
there. Ed Schumacher was one of 8 that came in on the National Limited along
with Bill Oertly, etc. The then-new Ford station wagon got broke in good that
day, but did well. DJE
