This thread is starting to look like the same old wish of getting a
monster mass-market company to cater to a flea of a niche market
segment. The hobby is a compromise of what's available, what's
required, what's possible and what's economical from a hobbiest and
manafacturer's perspective and a host of other factors.
I'd sooner pester one of the main stream manufacturers (Atlas for
example) to produce a wide range of detailed scale freight cars in S a
la their O scale offerings.
