Thanks , Bill....the "form" Letter was designed as a polite and dircted request for Kadee to review their production priorities vs. S gaugers wants and neesds, more specifically directed towards a"modern", and hopefully 1:64 proportioned coupler...to help us help Kadee take a closer look.
It wa s also intentioned that manufacturers/importers/dealers/suppliers/any S gauger - scale or highrail have an "easy" way to communicte with Kadee and by inference ANY one involved with that are or could be used in S. The letter was conceived after a lengthy conversation with Kadee's man on the ground: Sam Clarke, a personal aquaintance and former work collegue at Kadee (I was in charge of their Graphics dept for 3 years and also involved with many different production/manufacturing ideas/decisions/processes working closely with Dale Edwards, my boss and owner of Kadee. Sam is a caring and sympathetic, helpful person, dealing with, I imagine thousands of emails, letters and phone calls every month ranging from 1st timers to serious manufacturing/technical issues. He also deals with many technical issues with-in Kadee on a daily basis. He suggested the general character and direction of the "request to produce a specific S scale coupler", I merely did it...I do not have anything personal to gain, as I am very happy with SHS coupler and what is available now for S...for the general good, as a service to all ....begining to look like a dis-service!
