Bill,
Why do you use On3 couplers? Another question for anyone out there. When
using different couplers, i.e. #802's, #5's, etc. is it possible to use these
interchangeably?  That is if using #5's on passenger cars, will they function
properly, including uncoupling, with locomotives with #802's?
  Inquiring mines, want to know.

When I got the Kemtron track gauge I had no idea what the hub's
purpose was. To me it just seemed ideal for establishing proper
coupler height. It never would have occurred to me to attach a trammel
to it for use in laying out curves.

Regarding trip pin clearance, I have found that with a Kadee 802 or
808 at the proper height, there is no need to check the clearance. If
I use the On3 803 (black) or 807 (brown), I adjust the trip pin so
that it's like the S coupler.
