Bob, the negativity was not personal, its just that third magazines have been a flop. The S- Sn3 Modeling Guide was very successful, but didn't quite make it subscription wise. Many modelers who had subscriptions shared the magazine with others, thusly, cutting down on subscriptions. When Benedever took the magazine over, he became too artistic, so many of us tried so hard to help him. But our advice was mostly totally ignored, he kept making cute changes, so the help stopped coming. Dick Karnes was a major helper to this cause, as we all feel we need a S Scale magazine.
