Hi Rance,
I've been through this as well. I didn't notice it, but some spam came to me
using the group email address. When I blocked it, everything was blocked. I
discovered it the same way you are.

I note the same thing, I write a note to either S-scale or S-trains and
never see it. I do however read answers to the note, so I wonder if the
writer just doesn't get a copy of the email that was sent?? Is it some
"switch" that we as senders have to click?
