Had to chuckle--the coupler thread has everything to do with real trains in my 
view (if one really pretends to be a scale modeler, that is). Real trains have 
real couplers, and it certainly is legitimate to want to represent them in 
scale as faithfully as possible. Which tends to aim one in the direction of 
Sergent, by the way! I appreciate the discussion.

  anything about real trains.
