The only things I have seen is a system of holes in corner pocket squares which
accept short, wide prongs on other containers, and that essentially, the weight
keeps them all aligned.

  To Tom Hawley et al,

Being new to intermodal, I was wondering if Tom or other's can enlighten me
on the rules of stacking and marking containers for intermodal transport.
Since I have 5 intermodal cars (two of which have the yet to be resolved
coupler problem), I would like to know what would be the appropriate modules
to use (e.g. size 20, 40, 50ft) and can they be double stacked and if so how
are they connected since I don't see any mechanism to do that on the current
modules that I have. Also are there any company references or procedures on
the web on how they handle the modules (I don't mean something like Long
Beach or something huge on the East Coast but maybe something for a small
city). Also has anyone seen any supporting kits for processing modules at
the source and destinations (e.g. S scale or kitbashed from other scales). I
have seen some HO and O guage stuff but was wondering if anyone had tried it
out for S. It might be interesting to set up an operating layout whose goals
are to move cars and containers between facilities.

  Regads,

  Joe Haughney
