"On the Road to Milwaukee", that's the theme for this year's Fall S Fest. Hard
to believe, but it will be here in just 2 months.
That means time is running out to get registered. The Badgerland S Gaugers are
hosting this year's Fall S Fest in MIlwaukee,
Wisconsin November 14th through 16th. This is one of the largest gathering of
"exclusively S" events in the country, so don't
miss out.
Fall S Fest will be held at the beautiful Wyndham Airport Hotel & Convention
Center, 4747 S. Howell Avenue,
Milwaukee, WI. This hotel has easy access from both I-94 and I-43. It also
has free shuttles from the Milwaukee
Airport as well as the new Airport AMTRAK station. We have arranged a room
rate of $89.00 per night, just mention
Fall S Fest when making a reservation. Hurry, since this rate is only good
through October 30, 2008.
The trading room is over 14,000 square feet, which means all vendors and
manufacturers will be in one room.
This year's S Fest car is the famous Waukesha "WEBER Beer" reefer. Only a
limited number have been produced.
You must register to purchase these cars.
Our banquet speaker is Mr. Dave Myers. Dave was a military railroad engineer.
Dave will speak of his experiences
as well as the history of Military Railroading.
Sunday will feature self-guided home layout tours. 6 layouts will be on
display. For those who arrive on Thursday, a
few of these layouts will be open on Thursday evening.
There is something for everyone. Clinics, women's activities, tours, good fun
and conversation.
