It will be a while before we hear much from Bob. Electicity is out for most of
Houston maybe for the next 4 weeks. Even land line phone service is out in
much of the town. If you can't charge cell phone batteries then that kills
them too.
My girlfriend is still living in Houston about 15 miles from Bob and did not
sustain any structural damage on the house but has a big mess to clean up. I
suspect his experiece was similar.
Wonder what happened to the Galveston Railroad Museum. I ran with the Houston
S scale modular layout at a set up last year. The Strand, the historical
district, where it is located was flooded on Friday. Saltwater and steel are
not best friends.
