The 2000 NASG was held here in San Jose. There was one individual
that is a regular on this list that did not go to the NASG convention
even though he was in town at the time!
He was not alone though, I have several "S" Hi Rail friends that
came to town only to go to the dealers that were opened to the public
for one day. These guys were also NASG members!!! One of them offered
me a bag with about 400 SHS scale wheels, and then asked me why, SHS
even bothered with the .........HO ????........ wheels!!! I introduced
him to Don T. and told him to make Don some kind of deal.
Bill has hit this squarely on the head! Search out all the AF and
Hi Rail guys in your neighborhood, become their buddy. Most of them
are, normal, warmhearted guys, that have a habit of throwing, or,
giving away the useless scale stuff!

not even stop for lunch. I have seen THIS many times!
