it, about using HO to promote S. Even the dumbest preacher knows
you'll get more converts by good example, than by beating them over
the head repeatedly. If I remember correctly that was covered in

How are the boys? I hope everything is better. We shouldn't be too
hard on our kids. Look who they've had for parents.
Spoke to Bill L a couple days ago. I'm really sorry we can't make
the get-together this coming weekend. Poor planning on our part.
One of the neighbor girls that Kathleen grew up with is tying the
knot and I'ld be in an S Scale doghouse for life if I missed it. I
suspect Sambo will be going to NJ though. We couldn't go now
anyway. My mother broke her femur at the hip early yesterday, so we
have been logging nonstop hospital time. They did the surgery late
last night and had her up this am. Some of it was pretty comical.
The surgeon was by to tell her what a good job he did and what a fine
patient she was. I let it go on for about ten minutes, but finally
had to tell him she was deaf and didn't read lips and didn't have a
clue what he was saying. He did do a good job on the cut and paste
though.
Enjoy your meet this weekend, but don't work too hard. I'll talk to
