I checked into the baseball card storage boxes. The height and width is pretty good. For the length, the boxes are rated by card capacity. They appear to be in standard capacity sizes sold by different vendors as well. I found some in the 900 count range that were about 1 1/2" too short for an 80" car with couplers. So does anyone have a baseball card storage box stretcher? I figured I needed an inside length of about 17". I think they are a viable source of storage boxes for shorter cars though.
