Hi Everyone
I don't know if many of you have seen Keith Wills's `Collectors
Consist' column in the October issue of Railroad Model Craftsman, but
it really is worth reading.
The title is `Balsa Wood trains', but that doesn't describe the
column's contents.
Mr. Wills's column covers Ed Packard's Cleveland Models and Supply C-D
gauge locomotive and rolling stock kits.
These were the beginning of `S' gauge model railroading
in the late
1930's.
The article is very informative, and contains views of three
instruction sheets for a Pennsy 0-6-0, a flatcar and a caboose.
These would have been a real challenge to build, much less motorize
`S' has sure come along way!
Karl
