Bill,

Our club has been setting up our DCC (Digitrax) radio setup for several
years and except for some 'wiring adventures' we've operated very well.
Well, until we setup at the World's Greatest Show here in Houston. Our
radio system had the same broadcast settings as a couple other clubs.
Trains were not under control. This didn't happen during setup as we
were probably the only club testing at that time. Luckily the numbers
can be changed if you remember how to do that.

A year later we setup at the Galveston Railroad Museum and the
coordinator acted as a 'Digitrax Rangler' for the show to make sure
everybody started with different numbers.

Incidently, the above mentioned meseum was totally overrun by high
water--8 foot was mentioned. The salty sea water is plenty bad but the
mud left when the water leaves is something else. I doubt much can be
salvaged. I wonder if the "American Flyer Santa Fe business car) in
the museum?
