For those enjoying photography, history and 12" to the foot gauge railroads,
I'd recommend the following site:

The Center for Railroad Photography and Art has some great information and
historic photography. It is run by John Gruber who some of you will remember
was the editor of "Vintage Rails" magazine: another just excellent resource for
those of us interested in prototype accuracy, detail and great photos. The
Center is sponsoring an exhibit of Ted Rose photos and paintings titled
Railroads and the American Industrial Landscape. I had a chance to see it in
Milwaukee and I would highly recommend it. Since then the exhibit has been in
Sacramento and is currently at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania at Strasburg
until December 31st. Then it will go to the O.Winston Link Museum in Roanoke
until May 2009.
