This past Friday I completed the benchwork for my new S-scale layout. I plan to model a highly-compressed version of the PRR's Chartiers Branch. The idea is that when I have more space for the layout in the future, I can expand upon the modules I have built to extend the area modeled.
The wiring is complete. The next steps are to paint the Masonite board, build the foam-based scenery inserts, and to start laying track. I document the layout's progress on my web site.
