Tom is correct, the cars were
X29
pseudo X28, but only as tall as the X29
ARA single sheathed boxcar (SAL had a similar car)
ARA double sheathed boxcar (UP, DL&W and a few others).
The plate steel ends and outside steel roof were common to all cars.
I do have examples of each un-built, as well as a couple of X29s built up.

Jim,
I recall the cars: Yes, there was the X29 box. Wayne Pier also did a
door-and-a-half X29, but I don't think it was accurate, merely a
door-and-a-half X29. I thought--and could be wrong about this--that the
door-and-a-half cars had a higher IH than the standard X29. Next in the line up
was the single-sheathed car with X29 ends and a wooden door. This car was
indeed drawn up in a Car Builder's Cyclopedia but never made. Very close
copies were the B&M single-sheathed cars with X29 type ends but they had
steel doors. That's what I recall. Well, there was the AAR car, but I
think Don Thompson created that before selling the operation to Wayne Pier.
